Controller prompts in the demo
| Action | Prompt shown in the supplied demo recording | Use |
|---|---|---|
| Head bash | RT | Strike a key |
| Look at the screen | X | Read the computer without guessing from a distant view |
| Interact near an object | LT | Follow the prompt beside the object |
These are the Xbox-style glyphs from a demo recording. Follow your own on-screen prompts for other controller layouts and remapped inputs. This page is not a complete keyboard-binding chart.
Make a deliberate jump
Face the destination before charging. Use a smaller movement when approaching a single key and a longer jump for open desk space. If you keep passing over the target, reduce the charge on the next attempt instead of repeatedly making the same leap.
Check where you will land: hitting a second key on the way across can add an unwanted character to a spreadsheet or message.
Pressing Ctrl and a letter
Use a die to weigh down the desk’s Ctrl key. Leave it there while your worm presses B, I, C or V, then remove it before ordinary typing.
The spreadsheet guide includes the full shortcut table and the order for copying between cells.
When the mouse becomes awkward
Use the game’s mouse-reset action if the mouse has drifted into an inconvenient position. In the demo recording, resetting brings it back toward the centre and makes the next interaction easier.
After resetting, reselect the app or cell you need. Resetting the mouse is a positioning aid; it does not calculate the answer or complete a work objective.
Falling from the desk
A full-game review describes being returned to the desk with a concussion after a fall. It is worth taking a safe route while a deadline is close. This observation does not establish a permanent penalty or a reason to abandon the save.
If movement feels uncomfortable
The supplied demo recording shows a sensitivity adjustment in the settings. Try small adjustments and compare how easily you can stop near the intended key.
Use the game’s current settings and prompts to diagnose controls. A report about one player’s mouse setup is not enough to identify a universal game bug.
